Having 3 daughters, I understand everyday life doesn’t always function on the grand scale of a wedding. Everyday life can be simple, unpredictable, messy and most of all beautiful. As our kids have grown, my wife and I have often wanted to freeze time and preserve specific moments or days as we watch our kids grow.
And one day I decided to do just that… preserve a specific moment by capturing the beauty of the mundane with my camera.
I have come to realize that telling a story doesn’t need to be planned with a timeline and witnessed by guests dressed up in their very best. The beauty of capturing my girls playing with their mother that day in the fall of 2021 opened my eyes to telling a different kind of story. It allowed me to permanently freeze time that day and forever relive a moment that we so cherished.

As a filmmaker my goal is to tell authentic stories. What can be more authentic than the everyday rhythm of life which passes us by so quickly. I didn’t film that day for likes/follows, I captured those images for me, for my wife and for us to have something tangible to look back on as the years fly by and as each new stage of life comes and goes.
Chances are there is something in your life you don’t want to forget. A moment in time you want to preserve or just a day you wish to capture. Family sessions are for you. It allows me to join in everyday life with you and tell the story you wish to be told. It doesn’t need a timeline, a venue or dress code… it just needs you and the ones you love living everyday life.
