Welcome to Windsor Films! My name is Mitchell and I am the sole owner/operator. I am a proud father to 3 beautiful daughters, a committed husband, and a storyteller using video/audio as the tools to tell authentic stories.
If you are anything like me, you may have trouble remembering things. I often can’t remember the specifics from day to day life. Sure I remember the milestones… but how much that can I actually remember?
Now you are planning the biggest day of your life... how do you plan to capture and remember this day? Still images are useful and beautiful, in fact my wife and I have our wedding photos framed in our house and it brings us joy to see them.
But what about all the moments in between a camera snap? What did your dad say in his speech that brought everyone to tears? What corny joke did the best man tell that had us laughing uncontrollably? What was the context for all these moments? How did these moments play out and how did they sound?
As a storyteller, I want to answer these questions by capturing each moment and preserving them for a lifetime… moments which would otherwise be lost or forgotten.

My Approach
A wedding film is ultimately a story to be told. To tell a good story, I need to know YOU. This happens long before showing up for 8 hours of coverage. I want to build a real relationship with you by getting to know you before your wedding day. What makes you tick? What kind of music do you like? Who are the people in your life that mean the most to you? How did you meet your fiance and when did your love begin? I want to know your heart so I can tell a story that is authentic and real… a story you will cherish because it is true to who you are.
Collaboration
I ultimately want you to deliver you a film that will blow you away. But I also recognize that your day is about more than just my service and I will work hand in hand with the other vendors to serve you well during your big day. I want you to have an amazing film, but I also want you to have an amazing photo album and a planner who is happy because we stayed on schedule. A wedding requires collaboration among vendors/individuals who all want the same thing - to serve you well. I hold that same commitment and choose to work with… not against each and every person there to do the same.
Audio
Can you pictures the movie Jaws or Star Wars without John William’s masterful music compositions? I can’t either. Capturing audio is just as important as capturing beautiful images when it comes to a wedding film. I will plug into soundboards, mic each person with lavalier mics and place microphones strategically during each part of your big day. These soundbites will be woven into the fabric of your wedding film to not only enhance the quality of the film, but to give context to each and every powerful moment of your special day.
Consistent Quality
Hiring a videographer often follows a similar pattern. You send an email to a company. The email manager responds back to you with a contract to be signed. The wedding day comes and you meet your videographer for the first time. The videographer then hands over the footage to the editor. The editor completes your film and sends it to the social media manager. The social media manager posts it online.
For contrast, when you inquire with Windsor Films, I receive an email. I will be the one responding and scheduling a zoom call with you. I will spend time getting to know you long before your wedding. I handle your proposal, and personally respond to each and every followup email. I will be the one capturing the footage from your wedding and I will tirelessly craft your story together over many iterations and edits.
What I am getting at here is that I offer a level of consistency from film to film. When I take on a wedding, I make a full investment into you as a couple and handle each and every part of the process so you can rest in the same level of quality being applied from film to film!
